For over a century, the American College of Dentists has been the voice for ethics and professionalism in oral healthcare.

Long regarded as the “conscience of dentistry,” we continue today and into the future to serve as a hub for a dynamic array of activities, including an online continuing education program focused on dental ethics and professionalism, reaching over 100,000 oral health professionals globally.

Founded in 1972, the ACD Foundation generously funds CE and other initiatives including leadership programing, podcasts, guides and scholarships to name just a few.

We invite you to join us in this effort for the profession by contributing to the Foundation to ensure that dentistry remains one of the most respected and revered professions well into the future.

Benefits of Making a Planned or Legacy Gift

Wills and Bequests

Leaving a gift through your will (a “bequest”) is one of the simplest forms of planned giving. You can specify an amount or percentage of your estate or proceeds of specific assets to the Foundation.

Life Insurance, IRAS, or Retirement Accounts

Just as you can name an individual as a beneficiary of your life insurance, IRA or other retirement account, you can also name a charity including the American College of Dentists Foundation. Please contact your plan administrator or agent for the appropriate paperwork, forms, and instructions if this might be an option for you.

Trusts

When creating a Trust, you can include the American College of Dentists Foundation as a beneficiary.  We recommend you work with your financial or legal advisor in developing your Trust.
