Upcoming Activities
Annual Meetings
The Annual Meeting and Convocation is held in the fall of
the year, immediately prior to the annual meeting of the American Dental
Association. Annual Meeting events include symposia and keynote
presentations, special leadership and related training sessions, the
College business meeting, the Convocation for conferring Fellowship and
honoring award recipients, and special luncheon and dinner dance
functions.
ACD 2011 Annual Meeting
 October 10-11, 2011 (Monday-Tuesday)
The 2011 annual meeting of the American College of
Dentists is a celebration of leadership in dentistry today and
tomorrow. ACD 2011 is an opportunity for Fellows and guests to expand
their knowledge and skills—through interactive workshops and an
exciting keynote presentation—to meet their colleagues and renew
friendships.
Join your colleagues in Las Vegas for a most
stimulating meeting. Make a point of attending the LeaderSkills
workshops, the Regency Meetings, outstanding presentations, and our
Convocation and Dinner Dance. A complete description will be included in a PDF copy of the annual meeting brochure about April 2012 and it will be displayed immediately below.
Conference
ACD-ICD C.E. Conference
The American College of Dentists is planning a joint C.E. conference with the International College of Dentists in Savannah, Georgia, on Friday, March 30, 2012 through Saturday, March 31, 2012 with Thursday, March 29th, and Sunday, April 1st, as travel days. The conference will be similar to the Summer Conferences we had several years ago. It is designed so Fellows have fun in a great setting, with excellent C.E., and with time for other activities such as sightseeing and golf. This is planned as a one-time event, but depending on feedback, future cooperative conferences may be in the offing. The conference brochure is displayed below.

ACD Travel Program
Our next excursion will be a Danube Odyssey cruise through Vantage Travel, August 6 to 19, 2012. Contact James McCue at 800-994-6321, extension 7016 for more information. Dr. Roger W. Triftshauser will coordinate the cruise as he has done for all previous travel activities.
Miscellaneous Activities
Miscellaneous activities of the American College of Dentists will be
reported here when appropriate. The American College of Dentists
periodically sponsors special conferences on topics of current relevance
to Fellows, the dental profession, and oral health.
